Your local restaurant, business, or neighborhood could be featured on the big screen, but it won't happen without your help. Independent film director Brady Kesling said Kickstarter wants to gain the community's support to build its next film called, "Market Correction."
The movie made its premiere screening Monday evening at its "Kicking it Up," event that showed a sneak peak video and the chance to meet production crew.
The Low Fidelity Productions will shoot the film. "Market Corrections" is a dark comedic crime thriller that will be shot in Toledo if the production can get about $100,000 funding -- an amount Kesling says it can still produce Hollywood quality movie.
Its website gives a description of its talented staff -- many of whom received awards at music festivals across the country and worked on Oscar-nominated films.
The project pledge will end by Friday, June 28.
