Residents paying for their utilities bills will have more access to a representative on the phone. The City of Toledo extends customer service hours at utilities department call center.
The City of Toledo Department of Public Utilities will offer customers extended hours beginning July. New hours for the customer service call center will be from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. All calls already in the queue will continue to be served after 6 p.m. The extended hours will apply only to the call center.
The customer service walk-in center hours will remain unchanged at this time.
The change will shift working hours for staff. An additional eight customer service representatives will respond to customer inquiries in effort to reduce times.
