Clyde police investigating two overnight stabbings

Clyde police are investigating two stabbings that occurred in the city early Friday morning.
At approximately 1:55 AM, a state trooper stopped a vehicle on W. Maple St. in Clyde. In that car was Brandon McPherson, 27, of Clyde, who had been stabbed multiple times about the upper body. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital and was later transfered via air ambulance to UTMC in Toledo.
Just minutes later, a Sandusky County Sheriff's Deputy located another stabbing victim in the 400 block of N. Main St. 33 year old Timothy Rich lying on the roadway, also suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. Rich was transported to Physician's Choice Hospital and later transfered via air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
