      Columbus fire officials say a natural gas leak caused the explosion. According to neighbors, the house had been vacant for some time.


      A man outside was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A firefighter suffered minor burns and was also hospitalized.

      Officials say an adjacent home received some fire damage.
