Community prays for missing toddler's safe return

Family, friends and community members chant, "Bring Elaina Home" through the east Toledo neighborhood where the toddler disappeared on June 2nd.

As the search for Elaina Steinfurth extends into the third week, on Sunday the community prayed together for her safe return.

Over a hundred concerned members of the community, family, and friends gathered on the corner of Leonard and Federal Street to pray for the missing baby.

â??This is not a time for hate, this is a time for loving right now,â?? said Kyle Baker, who attends church with Elainaâ??s grandmother. He continued, â??When we put all that love and energy together something is gonna happen, you have to believe that.â??

â??Bring Elaina Home, Bring Elaina home,â?? was the chant that marchers echoed through the east Toledo neighborhood following the prayer ceremony.

Justice for Nevaeh will resume its search efforts at 10 a.m. on Monday. Elainaâ??s mother, Angela Steinfurth, is scheduled to appear in Toledo Municipal Court earlier in the day for a child endangerment charge related to the case.

If you have any information on the case Toledo Police and the FBI have posted a $10,000 reward in the case.
