After rising to fame while still an active U.S. Marine, country music star Josh Gracin is giving back.
Gracin got his start in the music business on season two of American Idol. He told WNWO Today via satellite this week that his military background continues to play an active role in his life and the causes he chooses to support.
That is why Gracin says he has teamed up with Sears to promote the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. The registry, which is in its fourth year, takes donations to help support America's military families through the holiday season. Sears teams up with various non-profit organizations and distributes donations between those groups as well as giving families gift cards to its stores.
Registration for military families is now open and is tentatively scheduled to close Nov. 19. Families can register online.
