Shoppers at the Churchill's, in Maumee, were welcomed into the store by a cow on Monday.
A Seagate Food Bank worker, dressed as a cow, was there to raise money for the food bank's 3rd annual Milk Money campaign.
The fundraiser collects 45 cent donations, enough money to buy a pint of milk , for needy children who normally rely on subsidized school meals to get milk during the summer.
"During the summer they don't have as many opportunities [to get nutritious food], so then we distribute the money we collect to the agencies that distribute food," Aggie Alt of the Seagate Food Bank said.
There are over 20 local businesses collecting money for the campaign and the Anderson's has agreed to match the money raised.
