As Toledo Police continue their investigation into the shooting death of 46-year-old Bassam Kanouk, customers of the Lewis Carry Out convenience store where Kanouk was slain remembered him as nice guy.
Angela Baker has shopped at the store every day for the last five years. "A very caring man, he would do anything for anybody, he taught my ten-year-old daughter math," Ms. Baker said.
Jason Glynn was also a regular customer. "He was a cool dude; I used to come up here and we would always have a good talk and stuff and he was a really god dude, he didn't deserve this," Mr. Glynn said.
Police do not have any suspects in the fatal shooting. They ask anyone with any information on this incident to call Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.
