DEA, Toledo Police join forces in a 3 day drug sweep

Sun, 20 Feb 2011 00:05:34 GMT — Over the course of three days beginning this past Wednesday the Toledo Police Vice/Narcotics Unit with the assistance of the federal Drug Enforcement Agency executed a series of warrants throughout the city. The code name for the sweep was "Operation Dirty Boy II" in remembrance of fallen Vice/Narcotics Detective Keith Dressel. 28 adults and one juvenile were arrested. A total of 37 felony and 44 misdemeanor charges were filed as a result of this blitz. $9,871 in cash was seized as well as 6 firearms. Additionally $64,000 in illegal drugs was seized including crack cocaine, powder cocaine, heroine, marijuana and prescription pills.
