Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash that killed a Defiance County man, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.
It happened just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Coy Road about seven miles west of Defiance. Troopers said 26-year-old Jarad Sharp of Sherwood was driving on a gravel road. He lost control and overturned. Sharp was not wearing a seat belt and was tossed from the car.
Two passengers were treated and released from Defiance Regional Medical Center.
