'Dog Wash' held to raise money for Wood County Humane Society
Bowling Green, Ohio (WNWO)-- Over two dozen pups got the chance to cool off in Wood County on Sunday during a Dog wash.
The wash was free, but owners could give a donation to benefit the Wood county Humane Society.
It was all thanks to a partnership between the Bowling Green modern Woodmen, the Humane Society and Poco's Playhouse.
"[We] were just thinking of different things for the humane society to add and nobody really tried this one out," said Nathan Eberly, Financial Representative for Modern Woodmen and volunteer for the Humane Society.
Organizers say it was a community event, with help from many across the county pitching in with baked goods and donations.
