A 40-year-old woman and her teen passenger sustained incapacitating injuries after her pickup truck hit a tree just west of Bolsinger Road early Friday.
Ann Goode was heading eastbound on Bloom Road when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree off the right side of the road. Goode and 19-year-old Zachary Redfern were transported by Life Flight to St. Vincent's Hospital.
Neither victim was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash and no citations have been issued. Drug and alcohol use is unknown at this time.
