A driver who fled the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash late Wednesday night has been caught.
David Robinson Sr., 39, fled the scene after a motorcyclist was struck and killed around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Douglas and Ida. Authorities arrested Robinson hours later for driving under a suspended license and failing to stop after the crash.
The driver of the motorcycle, Jason Alexander, 32, was struck in the head-on collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toledo Police investigators said alcohol, drugs, and speeding were factors in the crash.
Robinson submitted to a blood alcohol test and a blood sample was sent to the lab for testing.
