Driver charged in east Toledo crash; passengers injured

Toledo Police said the crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Sixth Street.
Sun, 25 May 2014 13:03:47 GMT — EAST TOLEDO -- A driver faces charges of aggravated vehicular assault after driving through an intersection and striking a utility pole Saturday night.The passengers, Lisa Paul, 38, and Maxine Brumley, 30, were sent to St. Vincent Medical Center as result of the crash.Toledo Police said the crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Sixth Street.The driver, Brian Hackett-Foster, 31, was heading east on Main Street near the Sixth Street intersection, when he struck the curb that protected street parking.The car continued through the intersection, and then hit a utility pole.Hackett-Foster was discharged from the hospital and booked into the Lucas County Jail.The crash remains under investigation.
