Driver killed, 3 sent to the hospital in two-vehicle crash

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Officials are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one driver and sent three people to the hospital Saturday in Hancock County.The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened about 6 p.m. on County Road 23 at Township Road 218 in Washington Township.54-year-old Richard Bailey, of Fostoria, was driving a 1999 Dodge Durango when it collided with a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse.The driver of the Chevrolet, 39-year-old Jody Fruth, of Alvada, along with two passengers, 9-year-old Jordan Ferguson and 1-year-old Jasmine Ferguson were sent to the hospital.Bailey was pronounced him dead on the scene.The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
