The Keybank put teen drivers to the test Tuesday. The workshops aims to inform teen drivers how to drive safely on the roads as national research reveals teen car fatalities rank highest during summer months.
Professional instructors from Mid-Ohio School along with state troopers offered instruction at Owens Community College. Students learned how to maneuver wet braking/ABS systems and emergency lane changes. Students practiced their skills on a Honda Drift Car to practice driving during severe-weather conditions.
Each workshop taught about 30 students, having four sessions with two hours of driving instruction until 6 p.m.
