Dry Tuesday, wet Wednesday and beyond

A slow moving upper level low pressure system throws clouds our way today but it looks like the showers, rain and storms will hold off until this evening and the overnight. We'll see filtered sunshine this morning with skies becoming mostly cloudy this afternoon with highs in the mid 70's.
Overnight scattered showers and storms will overspread the region with lows in the mid 60's. Tomorrow and Thursday look wet, humid and warmer. Widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms will be with us most of the day Wednesday with humid highs in the upper 70's. Thursday the rain will be more scattered in nature and we will likely see some breaks in the clouds at times which will help to heat us up into the lower 80's.
The rains finally move east Thursday night and sunshine will return by Friday afternoon as skies become partly cloudy with refreshingly dry hi's in the mid 70's.
The nice weather looks like it will continue into Father's Day Weekend. Saturday looks sunny and comfy with hi's in the mid 70's. Dad's Day Sunday looks partly cloudy, warm and humid with highs near 80 degrees.
Summer officially gets underway a week from Saturday (6/21) but we will start to see some July-like heat and humidity with highs jumping into the mid and possible upper 80's next week, along with the threat of those pop-up afternoon thunderstorms which typically build with the heat of the day.
You'd better make those Tee Times for dad soon. If the forecast holds true for a nice day Sunday available slots will be disappearing in a hurry.
Get done what you need to do outside today as tomorrow looks like a washout and Thursday will offer plenty of periods of showers. Have a good one!
