It's National Pancake Day once again and area IHOPs are flipping free flapjacks to help sick children in northwest Ohio.
For the seventh year in a row, IHOP restaurants will serve a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to customers from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. All they ask in return is to consider leaving a donation for the Children's Miracle Network at Mercy Children's Hospital.
IHOP's National Pancake Day celebration has raised nearly $8 million for charities. The 2012 goal is raising $2.7 million more.
