Ex-park ranger charged with peeping, photographing visitors

A former Wood County Park District ranger accused of snapping photos and video of visitors is now facing criminal charges.

The Wood County Grand jury indicted John T. Millinger on 11 counts of voyeurism, three counts of theft in office and one count tampering with evidence.

Prosecutor Paul Dobson said the matter first came to his attention when visitors found an iPod with a video recorder hidden in the restroom. Dobson contacted the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and requested a follow up.

Through the investigation, several other alleged incidents were identified.

Millinger, an employee of the Park District since September of 2010, was placed on administrative leave.

All individuals in the photographs and videos have been identified and contacted.
