Itâ??s a fatherâ??s worst nightmare now become reality for Johnny McIntoush.Early Thursday morning, McIntoush says he received a call his 16-year-old son Tyler had been shot and killed while walking in a central Toledo neighborhood.
According to McIntoush, Tyler was preparing to enter his junior year at Toledoâ??s Maritime Academy.Family members told NBC 24 the teen only cared about two things, his education and being a drum major in college.
McIntoush said he last spoke with his son Monday night after giving him a ride home from his job at the Nettyâ??s on Detroit Avenue. He said he told his son he loved him, and that he'd be there to pick him up after his next shift.
McIntoush says all he can do now is comfort his family and pray Tylerâ??s killer finds justice.
