ADRIAN, Mich. - A 39-year-old Michigan father who faces kidnapping charges in connection with his three missing sons is due in court.

John Skelton of Morenci is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Lenawee County, one day after waiving his right to an extradition hearing in Ohio and being driven back to Michigan. He remains held on a $30 million bond .

The unemployed truck driver is charged with parental kidnapping in the disappearance of 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton.

The boys were last seen on Thanksgiving in their father's backyard in Morenci.

William and Roxanne Skelton, after a visit to their son at the Lucas County Jail where he was held until Tuesday, say their son told them that the boys are alive but offered no details of their whereabouts.

Police have said the unemployed truck driver fabricated a story about leaving the children with an acquaintance. Volunteers have been searching southern Michigan and northern Ohio since their mother reported them missing on Nov. 26.
