The 24-year-old father of a 44-day-old baby has been arrested and charged with the involuntary manslaughter of that child.
Findlay Police say that baby James was rushed to a Findlay area hospital, on Monday, after being found "not breathing" at 321 Third Street.
Medical staff were unable to revive baby James and he was pronounced dead.
Officials say an arrest warrant was then issued for James' father, Jerrod M. Hartman, and he was arrested on Friday.
Authorities said they were not releasing any further information on how Jerrod Hartman was involved in the infant's death.
He is being held at Hancock County Justice Center, but a mug shot was not available by 5 p.m. Friday.
