Local fire departments joined forces on Saturday to raise money for the families of two Toledo firefighters who recently died in the line of duty.

Toledo and Perkins Township Fire Departments accepted donations at the Glass City Marathon Expo at the University of Toledo's Savage Arena. Money raised from the sale of t-shirts and ??Toledo Strong?? wristbands will help the families of Privates Stephen Machcinski and James Dickman travel to Colorado Springs for the 2014 IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Service in September. Both Toledo firefighters were killed fighting a blaze in January.
