---------------ORIGINAL: (July 5, 2011) Wood County continues its crackdown on the world's oldest profession. They nabbed five people in an undercover sting at a Bowling Green hotel on June 30, 2011.
19 year old Esperanza Ledesma, 25 year old Michelle Wainwright and 25 year old Sarah Rupert were arrested and face charges of solicitation. Rupert is also facing a charge of promoting prostitution.
52 year old Vincent Urbin and 30 year old Rodolfo Benitez were charged with solicitation. They've both pleaded no contest.
The arrests were part of an internet based sting operation. Wood County Sheriff's Deputies posted ads on websites soliciting sex and then set up the busts at a hotel. This is the third such sting this year.
