Four men are under arrest and facing kidnapping charges for invading the home of a central city woman and holding her hostage while they used her home to sell drugs.

Jerome Hornbeak, 20 of 114 Melrose, Sean Johnson of 3858 Hazelhurst, and Dominique Davis of 1104 E. Central were each charged with kidnapping and trafficking in drugs. A fourth suspect, Deshaun Belcher was charged with obstrucing official business.

According to police reports, the suspects forcibly entered the residence of Tishie Bozeman of 2703 Fulton St. and told Bozeman they would kill her if she left. They proceeded to set up a drug dealing operation.

After several days of being imprisoned in her own home, she convinced one of the suspects to allow her to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Bozeman then contacted police who entered her residence using a key she provided. They arrested the four suspects who were hiding in the attic and confiscated a mason jar containing nine bags of marijuana.

Suspect Davis complained of complications from an earlier gunshot wound and was transported to Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center for evaluation. Hornbeak, Johnson, and Belcher were transported to the Lucas County Jail.

Hornbeak, Johnson, and Belcher appeared for arraignment Friday morning in Toledo Municipal Court. Bond was set at $200,000 for Hornbeak and Johnson. Belcher was released on own recognizance. Charges are pending against Belcher.
