Things are about to get a little wilder at the Toledo Zoo.
The Wild Walkabout Australian-themed exhibit opens Friday, May 24 and features many wonders from down under.
The adventure starts with a walk-through wallaby exhibit near the Aviary, enabling visitors to get close to these gentle marsupials. The exhibit features Bennett's wallabies which are the smaller cousins (24 to 26 inches tall) of kangaroos.]
Visitors will also be able to see dingoes, a distant cousin to the domestic dog, and Baru, the largest saltwater crocodile in North America.
