Glass City Balloon Festival takes to the sky

The Glass City Balloon Festival gets underway on Friday at Levis Commons.

This morning, crews inflated six of the balloons for test flights just after sunrise.

16 hot air balloons will take to the skies Friday through Sunday.

The festivities will include several fun flights, competitive flights, two “glow” events, pilot meet and greet, and live music.

The entire event is free including free offsite parking at Perrysburg High School with shuttle service.
