Some mild & pleasant temps up for grabs today and tomorrow in advance of a dynamic cold front poised to move in Wednesday afternoon with widespread, healthy rains and a distinct plunge in temps after fropas (frontal passage).
We'll be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild today - not bad to heading to your polling place! With a healthy breeze from the south highs top out near 60 degrees this afternoon.
Overnight the clouds hang tough with mild lows in the mid 40's. Strong winds develop tomorrow morning (southerly - gusting to 30 mph) accompanied by mostly cloudy skies and early afternoon highs in the low and mid 60's. By mid-afternoon showers begin to move into the region and they will become widespread by late afternoon and evening. The rains won't taper off til the early morning hours on Thursday and cooler air will rush in behind those soaking rains. With clearing during the afternoon highs will not get above the upper 40's.
The chill sticks with us Friday and into the weekend with highs in the upper 40's and lower 50's.
Enjoy the above normal highs today and tomorrow as it doesn't look like we'll see temps reaching the 60's for at least the next few weeks.
Enjoy the day and your vote!
