Wed, 19 Mar 2014 05:03:32 GMT —
Officials at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center listed Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Andrew Clouser in fair condition on Tuesday night.
The news is an improvement for the 29-year-old who had been in critical condition since last Wednesday.
On March 10, Clouser was seriously injured when he became pinned between two vehicles along the Ohio Turnpike.
The vehicles were among nearly 50 involved in a massive pile-up that stretched several miles near the Sandusky/Erie County line.
Three others were killed in the same area of the Ohio Turnpike last Wednesday afternoon.
