Heat Advisory will kick in for the second day in a row at 1:00 this afternoon as we'll again see Heat Indices into the Triple-Digits this afternoon (100-104). Skies will be partly cloudy with highs maxing out in the low and mid 80's.
One more warm and muggy night tonight with partly cloudy skies and juicy lows in the mid 70's. Friday will be the last of this prolonged stretch of hot and humid weather, of this Heat Wave. I think tomorrow will be the most intense feeling heat we'll see too as the humidity will be even more intense with forcing in front of the cold front that brings relief for the weekend on Friday night. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy early with increasing cloudiness during the afternoon. A strong westerly wind will develop Friday afternoon as highs climb into the mid 90's with apparent temps of 101-105 degrees. Whew!
Showers and storms move in overnight Friday and will proceed a very comforable weekend as a Canadian High Pressure system slides in behind the cold front and will give us mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday afternoons. With lower humidity the weekend will be nearly refreshing as highs top out in the lower 80's.
Next week looks much more seasonable.
Take it easy with plenty of breaks from the heat and plenty of water intake. Hang in there and be sure to give special care to your pets - remember, they've got a fur jacket on!
