Big changes in store today! We'll be warm and muggy early with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms and mid-day highs near 80 degrees.
By Tuesday afternoon, a fast moving high pressure system moves in delivers sunshine and cooler, drier air. It will actually become a very nice evening for grilling out back as temps fall into the low and mid 70's this evening.
We'll be partly cloudy and cooler overnight with cooler lows in the mid 50's. Clouds will return to the region Wednesday morning, followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. It will be much cooler and more comfortable tomorrow with highs in the low and mid 70's.
A large dome of Canadian high pressure builds in Thursday and will be in control of our weather picture through Sunday afternoon. Thursday will be mostlly sunny with cool highs near 70 degrees. We're sunny on Friday with highs in the mid 70's. Saturday is the "pick of the weekend" with partly cloudy skies and warmer highs near 80 degrees. Showers and storms will return by Sunday afternoon as highs get back into the 80's.
Enjoy the comfort that arrives this afternoon. Sunglasses back in action!
