As the fog burns off and gives way to partly cloudy skies by mid to late morning we are going to see the "Sweat Index" climb in a hurry. Afternoon highs getting into the mid and upper 80's, combined with dewpoints approaching 70 degrees will make for an uncomfortable afternoon with Heat Indicies getting into the 90's. If you're going to be outside for prolonged periods of time this afternoon be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks from the intense heat and humidity.
As we get into late afternoon and evening there is a good chance of some strong and potentially severe storms developing. The primary threat with these storms will be large hail and damaging winds... stay weather vigilant as we get into the evening and early overnight hours. As we move into early Thursday morning the storms will weaken and give way to lighter showers. Overnight lows bottom out in the upper 60's.
Thursday is looking much more friendly with the showers ending by mid morning and sunshine busting out for the afternoon. We'll see more comfortable highs in the low and mid 80's.
