The heat sticks around as we head back to work after the beautiful holiday weekend. We hit 86 degrees in Toledo on Memorial Day. Tuesday will feel at least that warm as humidity streams in from the south and scattered showers and thunderstorms get brewing this afternoon. I'm going for a high temp of 83 in Toledo with Heat Indicies much warmer than that as dew points (a measure of relative humidity) climb well into the 60's.
We'll be warm and humid overnight as the majority of thundershowers fade. Overnight lows only fall into the muggy, mid-60's. Expect more showers and storms during the day tomorrow with cooler, but still warm & humid highs in the upper 70's.
A refreshing airmass slides into the region by Thursday and will give us a nice run of weather to finish out the work week. Under mostly sunny skies, and with much drier air in place, we'll see highs in the mid-70's Thursday and Friday.
The nice run of weather continues through the upcoming weekend with plenty of sunshine on tap Saturday (upper 70's) and Sunday (lower 80's). Yes, another weekend which will be great to do whatever you'd like to do outdoors - including time by and in the pool!
Heat, humidity and t'storms return to your forecast early next week.
