House in Toledo torn down after destroyed in a fire

Vacant house on Erie Street torn down after fire destroys it.

A fire burned through a house in north Toledo Friday morning.

It happened around 3 a.m. in the block of 3000 North Erie street. The fire destroyed the roof of a vacant house that spread to a neighbor's house. Crews have started tearing down the vacant house around 6 a.m.

Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the fire.
