More than 200 women from all over Northwest Ohio descended on the University of Toledo's Health Science campus for the annual "Take Back the Night" rally.
The event raises awareness of domestic and sexual violence against women.
"This is an event that annually we come together to honor the experiences of survivors and to really get the word out that sexual violence and domestic violence and stalking has risen to epidemic proportions," said Michelle Clossick, one of the event organizers.
There were several speakers and musical performances at the event, as well as resource booths where people could get information to help those in abusive situations.
