A Huron County plant is closing, leading to hundreds of layoffs.
Janesville Acoustics has informed the state it will be closing its factory at 405 Industrial Parkway in Norwalk by the end of 2014.
The first phase of layoffs begins in January and will impact 54 employees.
The majority of the other layoffs will take place during the second half of 2014.
A total of 300 people will lose their jobs.

It has had the plant in Norwalk for more than 20 years.
