A semi crash along I-475 between Maumee and Toledo will continue to cause traffic issues well into Friday, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

ODOT officials said the crash, in between exits 6 and 8 after Salisbury Road near Manley Road, would impact I-475 northbound traffic through at least the morning and into the afternoon Friday.

The incident caused ODOT to close the ramp from US 24 to I-475 N, the ramp from I-75N to I-475 ramp in the Perrysburg area, and the Salisbury Road/Dussell ramp to I-475N.

Officials say the single vehicle crash happened around 9 p.m. on Thursday, when the semi-truck slid off an overpass at Manley Road.

During the crash, the tractor trailer heavily damaged a concrete barrier, forcing officials to close the roadway to all traffic.

Officials said the driver did not appear to be seriously injured.

Drivers are urged to use I-75 alternate routes if possible.
