A major part of I-75 south near Sterns road in Monroe County has re-opened following a collision between two semi trucks.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, after a tanker truck and semi flatbed loaded with cargo vans collided.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's office crews had to clean oil and diesel fuel from the roadway as a result of the accident.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries, and were taken to St. Vincent's hospital for treatment.
After nearly six hours of being closed the roadway re-opened around 5:30 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
