Icy road conditions led to collision in Liberty Twp.

Liberty Township Fire Department and Lowery's Towing cleared the scene.

Two drivers were sent to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after one of the cars lost traction near Westmoor Road in Liberty Township.

21-year-old Lauren M. Case, of Findlay, lost control of the 1999 Ford Explorer heading west on W. Bigelow Avenue due to snow and icy road conditions, according to Hancock County Sheriff's Office.

The vehicle hit a 2014 Kia East, driven by 23-year-old Colin Kalescky, of Findlay, that was heading in the opposite direction.

Officials received a call of a reported crash around 6:45 p.m.

Liberty Township Fire Department and Lowery's Towing helped clear the crash.

Medical conditions are unknown as of this time.

Northwest Ohio received a range from 6 to 8 inches of snowfall Wednesday, placing the total winter snowfall at more than 7 feet of snow.

Henry County had been under a snow level 3 emergency until Wednesday night.
