IDA, Mich. -- Crews have stabilized a new metal grain silo that was in danger of collapsing onto an Ida, Mich. road Wednesday.
Authorities have re-opened lanes of Lewis Avenue in front of the Ida Farmer's Co-op elevator.
The 95-foot tall bin began to lean on Tuesday after two jacks inside the structure broke loose.
Police in Ida closed the area until the problem was resolved and the structure stabilized Wednesday afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
