Indoor trampoline park planned for Springfield Township

The building will be Phase III of the Stone Oak Business Condominiums, part of a larger 15 acre development at the corner of Airport Highway and Albon Road, known as Springfield Town Center.
The sky's the limit for an Indiana company set to bring the Toledo-area it's newest indoor trampoline park and nearly 100 new jobs.

Sky Zone signed a deal Thursday to build a 27,000 square-foot Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park at the corner of Airport Highway and Albon Road in Springfield Township.

The facility's building will be the third phase of larger 15-acre development at Springfield Town Center. Sky Zone will join Glass City Athletics, which broke ground on a new 22,500 square-foot facility last week, and the Mancaves, which was built in 2009. A retail or restaurant facility has also been proposed to sit at the corner of the propoerty.

The site is owned by Greg Repass, and Rich Iott, who ran unsuccessfully for Ohio's 9th Congressional District in 2010.

Carrie Snyder, franchisee and owner of the Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Sky Zone, expects to create four full-time positions and 90 part-time jobs with the opening of the new facility. "After an exhaustive search of the Toledo real estate market, we are so pleased to be working with Greg and Rich. The team assembling to open this park is exceptional and we can't wait to bring Sky Zone's awesome, healthy fun to Toledo" said Snyder.

Construction on the new facility is expected to begin immediately with an anticipated opening date by the end of 2014.
