An inmate escaped police custody while at the Lenawee County Courthouse Tuesday morning and is now on the loose.
The city of Adrian said 27-year-old Scott Warren Henning, of Swanton, escaped from a court house holding cell when a door lock malfunctioned. He is said to have walked out of a back entrance to the jail around 10:15 a.m.
Henning is 6-feet tall, weighs 180 pounds, and is wearing a blue shirt and gray pants. He is handcuffed at the front of his body.
Anyone who sees this man is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
Henning was being held on a 93-day sentence for violation of probation on a reckless driving charge.
