It's a bird, No it's a plane

If you hear the sound of F-16 fighter jets in the air over Northwest Ohio, during the next three weeks, don't be alarmed.

180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard

says it will be conducting evening training flights from Monday, November 26th through Thursday, December 13th.

During those dates, area residents may see or hear F-16 fighter jets taking off and landing until about 9 p.m.

While training flights normally take place during daylight hours, the Guard says that F-16 pilots and maintenance personnel are required to conduct night operations as part of their overall readiness.

The 180th Fighter Wing says it appreciates the community's continued support as they train.
