BREAKING: Jury recommends death penalty for James Worley
WAUSEON, Ohio (WNWO) —
A Fulton County jury says James Worley should be put to death following his murder conviction last month.
On Wednesday afternoon, jurors unamimously decided to reccomend death penalty for killing UT student Sierah Joughin in 2016.
Jurors got the case on Tuesday and had the option of the death penalty, life without parole, life with parole after 25 years, and life with parole after 30 years.
Fulton County court officials tell NBC24 Judge Jeffrey Robinson will render his final decision on April 18th.
That decision is to allow Worley to be present when the victim's family is making a statement.
