Juror removed from jury during Moody Manor murder trial

Witness Demetria Johnson had a past history with a juror in the trial. Juror 6 is removed from the jury.

The Moody Manor murder trial begins day 4 as the court removed a juror from the jury.

Judge McDonald explained witness Demetria Johnson knew juror 6. After meeting with lawyers from both sides, the defendants, and the juror in the chambers, the decision finalized the removal about 9 a.m. Thursday. The judge emphasized the juror did nothing wrong, but that the court cannot allow a juror to consider testimony from a person who interacted with a past history.

Sources tell WNWO that the two women worked at St. Vincent's Hospital and had a disagreement over a man.

WNWO will have more updates as the case continues with more testimony.
