Jury selection is underway in the trial of a Toledo man charged with one of the area's coldest cases.
75-year-old Robert Bowman sat quietly and listened to attorneys for both sides question perspective jurors. Bowman was arrested in 2008 in California and brought back to Lucas County to stand trial on charges he raped and murdered 14-year-old Eileen Adams in 1967.
Investigators tried to link Bowman to Adam's murder but didn't have enough evidence. Then in 2006, cops used a reverse paternity test to match him to DNA found on the Adam's body.
Jury selection continues Tuesday. If convicted bowman faces life in prison.
