Keep an eye to the sky...

The mid summer-like weather continues today as warm muggy air continues to stream into the region from the south. As highs climb into the mid 80's this afternoon clusters of showers and thunderstorms will develop and some of these storms will likely be accompanied by strong winds and hail. Stay weather alert and safe this afternoon and evening.
Expect more of the same tomorrow as a strong cold front moves in. The threat of strong/severe storms sticks around til fropas (frontal passage) late Saturday evening. Highs will again be in the mid 80's with high humidity values.
A cool, dry and refreshing airmass moves in out of Canada during the day Sunday and that makes it the "pick of the weekend" and the best day to get outover the weekend as highs max out in the lower 70's Sunday afternoon.
We're relatively cool, sunny and dry to start the next work week.
Stay safe, pick your spots for outdoor fun and have a terrific weekend!
