A German judge has to decide if a man who was paid to get a neighbor's wife pregnant is guilty of breach of contract.

When Demetrius Soupolos found he was sterile and unable to have children with his former beauty queen wife, Traute, he hired his neighbor to impregnate her. The neighbor, Frank Maus, a married father of two, accepted the proposal for $2,500 despite his wife's objections, stating, "I don't like this any more than you. I'm simply doing it for the money. Try and understand."

Three nights a week for the next six months the two went at it to no avail. That's 72 encounters and still Traute was without child.

This is where the story gets interesting... Soupolos insisted that Maus be tested to determine his verility. The test was performed and Maus was found to be sterile too. That is when to the surprise of all Maus's wife admitted that the test results were accurate and Frank was not the real father of their two children.

The case is before the court as Maus has refused to return the money. He claims the agreement did not guarantee conception and that he gave the endeavour honest effort.
