About 1,350 homes are still without power in Lenawee County after a Sunday evening storm rolled in. Strong winds uprooted trees, downed power lines and causing a semitrailer to overturn in a Fairfield Township couple TMs front yard.According to the Daily Telegram, the wind was strong enough to blow over a semitrailer on M-52. The semi tipped over on its side in the front yard of Richard and Kris Ries, who live south of Mulberry Road in Fairfield Township. The driver suffered only minor injuries.Downed power lines were a common sight throughout southern Lenawee County. Many trees were uprooted in Riga and Morenci, and residents reported the wind was blowing the rain in horizontal sheets.Consumers Energy says over 115,000 people were without power Sunday, but all are expected to be back up and running by Tuesday afternoon.To read the whole story in the Daily Telegram, click here.
