Lucas County to conduct sobriety checkpoints
TOLEDO, Ohio (WNWO) —
Local authorities will be on the lookout for impaired drivers
April 27 the Lucas County Operating Vehicles Intoxicated (OVI) Task Force will conduct sobriety checkpoints.
Checkpoints will be in two locations in Lucas County during the hours of 8:00 PM through 1:00 AM.
Details of the checkpoints will be released 24 hours in advance.
These will be staffed with officers from the Lucas County OVI Task Force and will be paid for through the OVI Task Force Grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
